Three or more coplanar parallel lines

This is a photo of blinds. These blinds demonstrate coplanar parallel lines because they lie in the same medium or plane and they will never touch. This is the definition of coplanar parallel lines. I took this photo of my blinds from my phone. Blinds are used to give privacy or security to those who are inside a house. It is used by many people around the world.

Congruent Acute Angles

This is a picture of a fan. This picture shows Congruent Acute angles. It may not appear so (due to my shift of hand during the tracing of lines) but they had the exact same angle and size. This object was found off the internet. It is used in houses every day to cool off people. This system also functions off electricity or oil.

Skew Lines

A line perpendicular to a plane

This is a image of a smart board. It is also a example of a line perpendicular to a plane. As seen in this picture, the pen held against the plane, demonstrates a line coming directly out of the smart board, forming a perpendicular line. This smart board was found in Ms. Palmer's room in Creeden Hall and was taken off my phone. Smart boards are often used to take notes, solve problems, and teach lessons. This is used in the information technology field and is found in many classrooms.

Supplementary angles that are not a linear pair

This is a picture of a keyboard. It is also an example of supplementary angles that are not a linear pair. This is shown because these angles form a straight line but are not touching therefore they are not a linear pair but they are supplementary. Keyboards are used with every computer (at least i hope so) to type up papers, notes, projects, ect... This keyboard can be found in the library and was taken off my phone. Keyboards are used and manufactured in the information technology industry as well.

Segment Bisector

This is a picture of a window. Also it represents a segment bisector. The segment is represented in blue and the bisector is represented in red. The way the metal working crosses the windows forms this and make the example. This window can be found the library and the picture was taken off my phone. This window is used to keep out insects, give natural lighting, and show the outdoors from inside. The metal on these window sills is also made in the industry of metal fabrication.

Alternate Interior Angles

This is a picture of a syringe. Although it is hard to see, Alternate Interior angles are demonstrated by this syringe because the sides of the angles switch and it is on the interior of the intersections. This object was found in a cabinet in my house and was filled with Milk to give it a more serious look. This object is used in the field of medicine to give shots of morphine, insulin, and other medicines.

Vertical Angles

This photo of a dartboard is a example of vertical angles because the angles of the 11 and 9 scores both share the end point of the bullseye. They both also go in opposite directions. This object was found off the internet. It is used in the real world for entertainment at bars and in homes by friends and family or sometimes just strangers.
